Carrying on with the Early Imperial Roman theme and the Battle of Bedriacum theme here are some Roman Gladiators
The gladiators took to the field on the orders of the Emperor Otho in 69 AD to fight against his rival claimant to the throne Vitelius. There were about 2,000 of them commanded by Martius Macer.
These figures are Foundry Miniatures though there may be the odd one from Crusader Miniatures. The unit has a legionary command attached to it.
There were several units of gladiators in Mick's game...see how these guys got on when I finally get to write the blog about the game.
I wonder if Russell Crowe is in there somewhere....they may need him.
